Mark Curtis

Mark Curtis has been with the law firm since 1980, the same year that he was admitted to the California State Bar. He has been a partner with the firm since 1985.

The focus of Mr. Curtis’ practice is family law and estate planning. For approximately 20 years he has been providing counsel and representation in family law matters, including those related to dissolution of marriage, child custody and support. His estate planning expertise includes the preparation of wills, trusts and premarital agreements. Mr. Curtis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from U.C.L.A. in 1976, and a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University, School of Law in 1979.

His legal activities have included his participation in the Family Law Sections of the Long Beach and Orange County Bar Associations, and his service as a volunteer settlement mediator and Judge Pro Tern in local family law courts. He is also a member of the Los Angeles and Orange County Bar Associations, and the Christian Legal Society.

Mr. Curtis’ civic involvements have included the Long Beach City College Foundation (for which he served as President from 1998¬2000), the Rotary Club of Long Beach, Long Beach Transit and the Southern California Education Foundation.
